Description: This month, America House invites you to discover the New York Times bestselling author – Edith Eger.

Edith Eger’s powerful first book The Choice told the story of her survival in the concentration camps, her escape, healing, and journey to freedom.

The Gift is a practical and inspirational guide to healing, showing us how to stop harmful patterns and imprisoning thoughts to find freedom and enjoy life.

Filled with empathy, insight, and humor, The Gift captures the vulnerability and common challenges we all face and provides encouragement and advice for breaking out of our personal prisons to find freedom.

The Book Club meetings are organized once a month. Each month a different book is selected from the America House library based on the theme of the month. Participants are not required to read or know about the entire book before the session.

The purpose of “The Book Club” is to encourage America House visitors aged 14+ with an intermediate level of English to read more, discover American writers, and borrow books from the America House library.

Audience: America House visitors aged 14+ with an intermediate level of English
